"Welcome to Elon's Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA)! Our chapter isn't huge, but we are full of love and community. We have a passion for service and enjoy interacting with each other and the community. I have found friends through this organization that I will have for the rest of my life" - Carolyn, Chapter President
About the Delta Psi Chapter:
The Delta Psi chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha was founded in 1989 at what was then known as Elon College in Elon, North Carolina. We are a co-ed service sorority committed to helping our local community, St. Jude Children's hospital and Easter Seals. Our chapter's purpose is to unite individuals associated with Elon University who are in pursuit of opportunities for self-development, camaraderie, and community service. Currently, our chapter has over 50 active members, 10 elected officers. We hold weekly chapter meetings and participate in many service and social events throughout the year. Service events are mostly completed in Alamance County, while fundraising efforts are primarily directed towards St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Easter Seals. |
About ESA International:
Epsilon Sigma Alpha is a co-educational service sorority that strives to achieve community education, service, and philanthropy. The organization was founded in 1929 in response to World War I and women's newfound involvement in business and professional careers. Since then, over 1,000 community and collegiate chapters have been formed. Each year, ESA provides over 650,000 hours of direct service to those in need. In addition, over $10 million in cash and pledges is raised annually for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, our main philanthropy. Our letters stand for education, service and association.
